Dr.Krishnankutty Rajesh completed his Orthopaedic training in Manchester ,UK . He was awarded FRCS in 1996 and FRCS(Orth) in 2001 from Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow and moved back to India for a short period before coming to Australia in 2008. In the interim he also had advanced training in Shoulder Surgery in a Fellowship in 2004 with Dr.Peter Hales in Perth,WA.


After coming to Australia, he passed the FRACS (Orth) from Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012 and has been working as Orthopaedic Surgeon at the South East Regional Hospital in Bega, NSW. He is currently the Head of Department. 


He performs Private surgery at National Capital Private Hospital and Canberra Private Hospital .His main area of interest is in MAKO Robotic assisted Total Hip and Knee replacement and Shoulder replacement. He also performs shoulder stabilisation for dislocations, repair of rotator cuff tears and surgery for hand conditions like Carpal tunnel syndrome, Dupuytren's Contracture and trigger finger.

Dr. Krishnankutty Rajesh is passionate about maintaining his knowledge and skill and in addition to the annual Australian Orthopaedic Association Conferences, he also attends Bioskill workshops to maintain surgical skill and to learn new techniques.

  1. Two stage Technique for correction of deformity of the PIP joint in Dupuytren’s disease using the S-Quattro – Northwest orthopaedic meeting, UK 1998. This paper won the Charnley Prize for the Best Registrar paper at the Northwest Orthopaedic Association meeting in 1998.
